Teens and young adults today are facing greater mental health challenges than ever before. Whether sensory overload from electronic devices, cyberbullying, or academic pressures – they are in dire need of education in self-care.

This 4-week research-based course will allow them to develop mindfulness skills to reduce stress and improve mental health. They will become empowered to take control of their well-being, increase self-esteem, and live life with renewed hope and enthusiasm.

Stressed Teens invites and celebrates human diversity in all forms regardless of race, color, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ability, personal appearance, or religious/spiritual affiliation. All people are welcome and encouraged to be a part of our groups.

Any teens and young adults between the ages of 13-23 are welcome to attend. Mature 12 year olds can attend.

Those who have an interest in:

  • Learning how to cope with and manage stress

  • Bringing mindfulness techniques and practices into their lives

  • Acquiring skills to choose to focus on positive experiences aka 'Taking in the Good' and build beneficial lasting resources.
